Won't start.Turns over.Tank is full.Ran fine 5 days ago.

Plugs are all dry. Everything is original except fluids. No indications of any problems until now. 41,972 miles on it. Tank is full. Had a slight miss on start up last time running but went away when warmed up.
Battery light green. You can hear the fuel pump running when you turn the key to on before cranking. No codes on the dash lights. All come on as normally do.

Upon further review. A squirrel has chewed completely thru 12 of the 16 spark ignition wires in the wiring harness. We're going to attempt to solder the wires back together because Dodge charges a huge amount of money for an engine wiring harness. A List Price of $1375.00 for just the part alone.

I wouldn't try to solder the ignition wires. They are resistance wires. Maybe they don't take to solder, and you would need to trim insulation. I would just connect them with a short wire poked into the two chewed ends and tape the joint thoroughly. With the high voltage, you don't need a real good connection. But insulation is important.

The lost power to start; it occurs by 2 way; Electrical or Fuel supply ... if your spark plug & wrire plug are ok; it may be a fuel supply or air intake supply; when the engine start need more fuel; because the engine start over 1200 - 1500 RPM; them it need more gas fluid; you can check the fuel filter ( filter pump & line fuel ); if it is ok; clean your injector; check the fuel injection system fuse and relay.

i would think it may be a distributor cap or wires as they are the only things that when wet are a problem like you mention or the coil may have carbon tracking try looking at coil and cap at night when dark and see if you see any arcing if you do there is your problem

Why are cylinders 1 3 and 5 are miss firing 1997 toyota camry

you cannot change oxygen sensors from front to back as they are 2 completely different units doing completely different jobs
the problem is water in the electronics and you use a dewatering fluid ( wd-40 or like ) to disperse the water not starter fluid

1997 mazda 626 won't start.

Are the plugs wet with fuel?
Check for spark. No spark? it may be the ignition module.

Plugs dry and spark present? No fuel?Spray a little starting fluid and see if it will run on that.
Then check pump fuses and for fuel pump noise.

I have a 87 vanagon with 200+ rebuilt heads it

I had a bad ignition coil cause the same problem. Simple to replace yourself, and inexpensive. Worth a shot I think. New plug wires might be advisable.

No start new plugs, cap, rotor new coil icm modual put starting fluid in still no start will turn over all day

1. Check the spark plug gaps. It should be adjusted
to the thickness of a hacksaw blade.
2. You replace almost all of the ignition parts but not
the hi-tension cables of the plugs and the coil.
Have this replaced.
3. Check all the plug for sparks. Sparks must be blue
in color to indicate good voltage to burn the fuel
and run your engines.
4. When everything in the ignition is working, check
the fuel at the carb if it has a good spray.
5. Check the air-fuel adjuster at the carburetor. From
full close position, turn 2-1/2 full turns counter
6. Then, start your engines and go.

1996 5 speed honda accord. sat for a year. put in new battery. everything lights up, but car wont start. never had previous problem.

Are you saying the car turns over (cranks) but it does not start? Or, the car is Not turning over?
If it is cranking over but not starting, and it ran fine before sitting for the year, it may be water/moisture in the gas. Try some dry gas, and/or Carb-fuel injection cleaner in your gas tank.
