When put fob, no cluster lights, no crank, no start!

That key reset it's code like every 60 secs... do you have other keys around it that are also for that car... if so they might both be changing codes at the same time.

My 2009 Pontiac torrent will not start after it sits for 2 days! So we bought a new Battery and it still does the same thing after it sits for 2 days

When you say it doesn't start, does that mean the engine cranks when you turn the key but won't fire, or absolutely nothing happens when you turn the key on? Does anything electrical work; headlights, horn, dash lights, radio?

97 dodge neon turn key have lights but no crank or no noises

Is the car still in gear? If it is, then it will not start till you put the car in park. I've done this before and the same thing happened, had radio, lights etc...till I put car in gear and it started. Check the gear selector, if it's not in park, then put it in park and try to start. Hope that helps.

2002 Tbird will not start

Try the connections on the starter. Probably corroded from sitting. Has happened to me many times. Take the large wire off, wirebrush the terminal & the cable eye.

Sometimes when i try to start the car inturning the ignition key absolutly nothing happens. IF you put on the lights and radio they work. Battery is not dead. the starter was just resently replaced.

GM vehicles are notorious for failed anti theft systems. When this happens it will turn off the starter to prevent theft. Look for a light that says "security" on the dash. This would indicate this problem. Here is a link for info and solutions. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/

Have a 1984 Toyota Maual pickup 4 cylinder, Put in new battery but still nothing when turning key, have head lights but absolutly nothing else.

if the starter is not making any noise then try tapping the starter while someone tries to start it.if the car turns over then you have a bad spot in the starter and will have to be replaced.

97 dodge neon will not start, once in a while

Do you have sufficient power to the vehicle? Do the lights work and radio? If not your battery is low, if yes than your starter solenoid may have failed. Since there is absolutely nothing, I take it you hear no cranking or igniting. correct?

My car won't start, I turn the key and absolutely nothing happens, no crank, no noise whatsoever. The lights work, the radio works, the fan comes on, the only thing I noticed was when I check the battery...

try shifting it to neutral then see if it will start if it does then you have a bad gear position switch if not could be a bad starter or ignition switch
