Question about 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix
When I turn the key to auxilliary, the lights, radio, fans, etc. come on, but when i turn it to start, everything shuts off and I only hear a single click. I already tried jumping it. Any suggestions?
Sure sounds like a flat battery.Could also be loose or poor connection with the main battery cables.Try running a wire from the positive terminal of the battery directly to the starter solenoid,if you leave ignition on vehicle should start. If the battery has collapsed a cell jump starting does not always work. You must confirm by swapping the battery to eliminate it as the cause of your fault as any tests are useless unless you do so.let me know once youve confirmed battery is ok.
