Brake Light Install

I have a 99 Plymouth Breeze and don't know exactly how to change the bulb for a brake light. I know how to find the panel in the trunk but after that, I don't know. Thanks for helping.

After you find the panel just pull it out and you will see the back of the tail light with the plugs to the bulbs just simply twist the plug and pull out, that will come out and you can change your bulb and put it back together.

Brake lights are not working on 1998 Plymouth breeze

check brake light switch. you should have power all the time on one wire and only power on the 2nd wire when the brake pedal is pushed. if you have this check the bulbs and then the sockets for power and ground. if you have power through the switch and none at the sockets you have a break in the wire for the brake circuit that you will have to find and repair. the wires run on the drivers side under the carpet.

My break lights don't work even after I changed the bulbs. I have a 1996 Plymoth Breeze.

First check the fuse(s). If fuse ok then I would check the brake pedal switch...these often pop off their mount or become misadjusted when under dash work has been done(eg:remote starter installed,stereo,etc..)

1998 Plymouth Breeze brake panel light - what does it mean? No owner's manual in car.

the brake light illuminated on the dash will indicate that either the emergency brake is on, the brake fluid is low, or there is a problem with the brake system. Make sure the e-brake is off. If the pedal feels normal check the fluid level in the reservoir. If its low add fresh BRAKE fluid from a new sealed container.

Why dose my left side brake light go out on a 2000 plymouth breeze when the headlights are turn on

There may be a problem with the duel filament bulb, or a fault in the earth wire to that brake light. Try a new bulb first , then try a small jump cable from the body to the bulb holder

I am trying to replace the brake light bulb on 97

Open the trunk and remove the fabric insert located by the tail light. There should be 2 plastic nuts toward the center-most part, one above the other about 6 inches apart (One above the other). Then on the quarter panel side (where the light comes to a point on the outside) there should be just one. Making a total of three nuts to remove it. On the plug there should be a small plastic red clip. Slide it aside and squeeze the tab to remove the plug. After you pull the light out you will see two silver dollar sized circles that hold the light bulb in. Twist this to remove the light bulb. There's also a third smaller one for the smaller bulb.
