Question about 1998 Ford Expedition
I own a 1998 Ford Exposition, the air suspension will not work! I have checked the compresor motor and it has no power going to it? The fuses look good, and have been replaced/ those fuses are #126.96.36.199.188.8.131.52.26.27.and #28. these fuses were checked with the vehicle running. Everthing works!?? this fuse box is located inside the truck, I then tested the high currant fuses under the hood, and the all the mini fuses and they are all good, I checked the plugin connection, no problem with them! what am I missing??? Please help me.
On the passenger side inside the wheel well there is a high current relay for the air compressor it is a silver metal relay assy 4 wire plug two smaller wire are the relay power two larger wires are compressor feed. if you jump the two larger wires and the compressor works check the smaller wires for power and ground if ok the relay is bad. usually these relays go bad due to compressor drawing high current and usually need to be replaced
