It's losing one of two things - fuel or electricity. I would check and or replace the fuel pump and fuel filter first.

1991 F150 Interior dash and brake lights not working

you need to change out the 7.5amp fuse in the fuse panel under the dash. make sure you look up because i missed it the first time i had the same problem. the trim makes it hard to see when you have the cover off of the fuse panel.Or you have a short in your wiring or a short to power of an other curcuit. do you know what the code is for the check engine light? what engine is in it?

1991 Ford F150 starts for an instant then stalls

my dad used to say you need two things to start a motor; gas and fire. Check these and make sure they are both good. You have to go through the steps from there. Could be a fuel filter. could be bad plugs. etc. etc... Hope it helps.

The ignition in my 1991 Ford F150 is broken. I have been using my Viper remote starter for the past few weeks to start the vehicle, but that died on me last night. I just need to start the thing so I can...

you have to arc across the main power to the starter to the main power of the silenoid. when you made contact it will spark but you should be fine. Hope this helps you

Truck runs rough

Sounds like one of your chambers isn't firing. Run your car for a few minutes, shut it off then pull your plugs one at a time and see if one of them is wet. Might just need a new plug.

Intermittent check engine light, runs rough

You have 2 codes, 8 and 5, code 8 is the TDC sensor, this would cause a no start, the code 5 is for the MAP sensor, it may be disconnected or defective.
