Wipers stopped working, changed motor, control arm and fuses, wipers still not working, changed to other fuses and now car wont go past first gear, before i change the fuse it was driving fine now my...

It is almost a sure thing that you have put a lower amperage fuse in a higher amperage socket.
To verify, look at the fuse box cover, it usually has a legend of what fuse goes where, and what the amperage is.
Make sure that you put 15A fuses in 15A slots etc.
Also make sure that the fuses are not burned out, look for the little piece of metal that make the connection, and make sure its intact.

My 2007 Mitsubishi galant 12v power outlet isn't working I checked the fuse on the side of the driver side 15a and replaced it its still not working what should I do

well there's a couple of things. The right way to do it would be to grab a DVOM and trace the wire from the fuse until you find the dead spot. Usually it is the 12v socket itself that has lost connection. but if the wire has shorted or broken somewhere between the fuse and the socket the you could run a new wire.

2004 Isuzu Rodeo, Cruise Control will not switch on.

No fuses? In the dash fuse box, check 15A STOP LIGHT fuse CB-6, 15A ENGINE IG fuse CB-12, and 15A BACK-UP/TURN LIGHT fuse CB-14. Then, in the fuse/relay box, check 30A ECM fuse EB-17. The steering wheel switches connect through the SRS coil assembly which may have failed. The ECM may have failed. The vehicle speed sensor may have failed. Other elements of this circuit may have failed

My 2002 ford ranger running lights and instrument panel dont work

12V power passes through 15A fuse 33 (the one that keeps blowing?) in the battery junction box and on to the main light switch. When the main light switch is set to PARK, 12 volts is routed via the BRN lead to the park filaments of the dual park/turn lamps. These lights remain on when the headlight switch is turned to HEAD.

The main light switch gets its 12V input from 7.5A fuse 11 in the central junction box and the same 15A fuse (33) identified above. When the main light switch is set to PARK, 12 volts is routed via the BRN lead to the instrument panel dimming module and module output is applied to the panel illuminating lamps. These lights remain on when the headlight switch is turned to HEAD.

The input to fuse 33 is hot all the time so should read 12V. If you read 12V at the TAN/WHT connection with the fuse out, something is definitely not right. I'm sure you have noted that the fuse is common to the non-functioning circuits you mentioned.

I'm looking for the fuse identifier for a dipped headlight on my A4.And any troubleshooting advice id welcome. Thanks.

For Audi A4 the fuse box is located on the left side of dashboard behind a plastic cover (for left hand steering wheel vehicle). On inner face of the plastic cover you will find the fuse diagram.
First fuse on first row from left upper corner is Fuse Nr.20 = F20 (15A) - RH headlamp low beam, headlamp adjustment.
First fuse on second row from left upper corner is Fuse Nr.21 = F21 (15A) - LH headlamp low beam, headlamp adjustment.

The 12v "cigarrette lighter" in my 2004 jetta stopped working, it sparked. I checked the fuse box....and there is no fuse to begin with! Please help

did you try to bend the tabs in the socket with the power on using a metal screwdriver???

There must be a fuse, or it cannot have worked!

Check you are reading the fuse diagram the right way up, its easy to not realise its different from the view of the fuses, german cars are prone to this!

Volume problem on odyseey

Check the following fuses. Fuse No. 8 (7.5A) in driver's side kick panel fuse box. Fuse No. 9 (15A) in passenger's side kick panel fuse box. Fuse No. 11 (10A) in passenger's side kick panel fuse box. All these fuses need to be good in order for the audio unit to work. Also check the power sockets (cig lighter) for power. If the fuses are good but no power to cig lighters then the accessory power socket relay is bad. Its located in the passenger side kick panel fuse box.

2004 civic hybrid - cruise contol suddenly stopped working - replace fuse? i would but the fuse covers do no say which fuse?

Check fuse #4 10A in the engine bay fuse box.Fuse #7 under the dash which is a 15A.

Another possible cause is a bad horn relay. Hit the horn to make sure it works.
