What could be the reason for heater not work on a 2001 S type Jaguar?

Hi, it sounds like the Blower or fan if you wish is not switching on. Check the fuse. If the fan is working and it's still not heating up, then it can only be a blockage somewhere in the water pipes of the heater, but you have changed the distribution valve, so I doubt it could be that unless of course you have forgotten to connect the steel cable to the valve or unless it is an electrically operated valve, then could be the current line to the valve is not connected, maybe a break in a wire or via a relay or fuse somewhere along the line, hence the reason for the valve being replaced in the first place. Typically of an electrically operated unit makes one think it's always the unit that is faulty, but meanwhile a simple connection failure caused by corroded bad contacts or a break in a wire(very seldom) is the real reason for failure.Just bear one important thing in a car gets older so will the electrical contacts in fuse boxes and relay fittings corrode or oxidize, that is why these components must always be serviced by cleaning out at least every five years, and, if you are living in a coastal area, at least every two years as oxidation and rust is more imminent..
I hope I have been of help to you,
Have a good day.

What would make coolant come out of top of bleeder valve on water housing on a dodge intrepid 2001 2.7

The same thing happene to me. i just replaced bleeder valve with a bolt. Take your old bleeder valve to hardware or auto parts store to see which type of threading you should get first. Goodluck.

Runs hot after i put antifreeze in it

more than likely you have air in the system,,,make sure you take the bleed valve fitting out of the expansion tank feeder line..crank the car up and turn the ac on wide should see bubbles flowing from the removed expansion feed bleeder screw. When the bubbles stop place the bleeder screw back into the housing.Let me know.

Where is the small insert to place freon in the 2001 jaguar s-type 4.0 ?

hi you can find the re-gas valves by starting at the front of the vehicle, where the radiator is you should see some aluminum pipes coming from the bottom follow them along and you should come to either a black or a red cap type thing lift the cap off and there should be a valve that looks like the one you have on a wheel, i can not remember which valve is which to refill and black to vent, or the other way around...but hope that helps in some way

Jaguar 2001 s type 4.0 no heat and radiator full

Possible heater valve is stuck. It is located behind the radiator on the fan shrouding. A tap with a blunt object sometimes free's the valve off. If not a new valve may be required

2001 jaguar S type v 6. I need to replace the valve cover gasket. Does any one have the torque sequence and torque values for the bolts?

Felpro brand gaskets are the best in the world, not sure about the intake, if it is in the way then yes remove it.

Water pump problem?

You need to make sure you don’t have an air lock. Find the bleeder valve for the coolant system and release the air. If you can’t find the bleeder, find the highest hose for the coolant system and make sure coolant is flowing through it.
