Yes, it's on the rear of the cylinder head. 4 bolts and a electrical connector.

04 terracan wont start changed cam sensor as would start with easy start spray now wont start

If the engine started with easy start spray, it was getting spark. Why did you change the cam sensor? You need to find out why the engine is not getting fuel (fuel pump, filter, injectors, etc). If it doesn't start at all now, even with easy start spray, you may want to put your original cam sensor back in. Do you have a check engine light? Any codes? Don't just change parts hoping for results - troubleshoot the issues!

HOW HARD OF A JOB IS REPLACING CRANK SENSER ON 2004 NISSON SENTRA

on a 4 cyl is very easy, Nissan recommends replacement of both the crank and cam sensor together, but the crank sensor is in the back of the engine, near the transmission bell housing under the engine mount bracket. the cam sensor is in the back of the cylinder head and both have 1 bolt each, 10mm.

Vauxhall vectra 2006 cam sensor

I have had this before it is best to change the cam and crank sensors as a pair. as a week sensor will affect the other sensor.and give a false code. as these work together. it is best to change both at the same time. i changed the crank on mine after the cam and it sorted it out. crank sensor is located near to the thermostat and under the exhaust manifold. make sure you tuck the wire away from the exhaust manifold . other end of the wire is fitted to the under neath of the injector cover and is cliped in place very easy to replace

My 2004 Taurus has chirping sound in motor. Not belts.Other end of motor.Could it be cam position sensor?

YES. Very common problem. The cam sensor driver unit goes bad. (Usually called a "Cam Syncronizer") Squeeks like crazy, causes hard starts, poor fuel mileage, usually destroys the cam sensor itself, and will cause catalytic converter damage if not fixed promptly. (You will find broken, rusted pieces inside the assembly if you take the sensor off of the top)
Complete kits (Made by Dorman) are available at most parts retailers. It will look similar to this:

dttech_10.jpg It should be noted that although this part is relatively easy to replace, it can also be very easy to install it incorrectly. Proper alignment (Syncronization) should be checked using a scan tool after installation.

Cam position sensor broke

ok easy fix. this is common on ALL ford w this style cam sensor,3.0 eats them for lunch. the sensor base has bushings like a real distributor, they get wore and fail. you can get new from ford, or reman at auto parts about 100 bucks. they come w the sensor installed but as with either, you need the allginment tool, looks like a little hockey puck, that only come from ford to set up or check engine light wont shut off. it will run without this but poorly. if you need more advice just post a comment to this and ill do my best to advise you

Crank sensor

The crank sensor is behind the harmonic balancer. Not too hard to replace, the harmonic balancer is supposed to come right off but I needed a big 2-jaw puller to get it off.... accessed through the wheel well.
