Question about 1999 Dodge Ram
When i first start off in my truck it takes a while for it to shift out into the next gear around 40 mph. doesnt do this but usually 2nd-4th gears. this is an automatic trans not sure. i was told by autozone to have my catlyc converter replaced and it would fix the problem.suggestions??
I think you mean they told you that you need to replace the torque converter , which transfers the torque from the engine to the trans
it could be the torque converter but also could be the bands wearing down in the trans
