Blinking Dashboard light that I can't Identify

Theres a light on my dashboard that looks kind of similar to: [ ! ] (with dots underneath) and I don't know what it means as I bought the car used and it didn't come with a manual. Additionally, it's the icon on the far bottom right on the dash. Can anyone tell me what it is?

The ( ! ) icon indicates that you have a tire or tires that have a lower than specification inflation air pressure. This is the low tire pressure warning light. Note thet the Spare tire is also checked for inflation pressure, also. Best advice I can give you: Get a GOOD tire pressure gauge, (not one of those "pencil-looking" things, they are inaccurate...Set all 5 pressures to specification, and your light will go out automatically. Let me know if this helped...Thanks for choosing FixYa.

This is the low tire pressure signal. Fill your tires to the proper pressure and then reset. The reset button is just under the steering column. Turn off car and turn to second click(just before starting), then hold button in until light on dash goes out.

Locate fuse for dashboard lights

Check for a fuse box underneath the dashboard in the drivers side. Some times there is a plastic lever that needs to be pulled down in order for the fuse panel to swing down. Check your car manaul to see where the dasboard light fuse is located, some times the fuse can be located in the engine compartment where you will find a rather big black plastic box with relays and other fuses. Another fuse box location is found on the passenger side underneath the dashboard or kick panel, better to check the owners manual so you don't have to look into all 3 locations.

When you do find the right fuse block, look for a fuse that is labled Insturment Lights or Cluster Panel, that usually indicates the dashboard light fuse. The fuse used in most dashboard lights is around the 15 to 20 Amp range.

I bought my truck 2007 dodge ram 2007 at an auction, the dashboard is not installed it looks like parts are missing, before i install another dashboard how can i know what part is missing its all the...

This could be a "knotty" one.

I think, if I were you, I'd take numerous digital pictures of what you now have and then visit a salvage yard.

Find a truck like yours, and, as you disassemble the dash for removal, check against the pictures you have taken to try and identify anything that may be missing.

Good luck on this one!

Dashboard Lights

The fuse box is underneath the dash.

Check the red 10amp fuse marked 'LPS'.

To check it, pull it out with pliers or needlenose. Look at it. If the wire inside it looks burnt, it is. Replace it with a good one.

There is also a dimmer switch on the dash. Check to make sure it didn't get turned off.

Replace the hyperactive lighter. Some do that.

Hope this helps,

Mike
