There is only one radio fuse. If its playing music, its not the fuse. Your radio has most likely failed internally. You probably need to replace it. Check on used ones if its not a navigation radio.($175.00) If it is buy a reman from a dealer. ($900.00 Exchange) Rough idea on prices.

any short or 'spark' will most likely blow the fuse.fuse panel is located below the dash on drivers side.look for a 10 Amp [red] fuse.complete wiring procedures, then replace fuse.

2005 CTS _ What would cause the audio system CONTROLS, while Driving down the road to quit working, while the system continued to play?

Have to have the factory diagnostic manuals for the answer

That may require a dealer & they will most likely bring someone
in at night to do entertainment/radios etc

I doubt many local shops are up to speed on all those systems
out there & may never care to get involved

There are a thousand makes & models of vehicles now,so your
going to have to cut back & specialize in what you like to work on

2003 ford focus zx5 radio doesn't work

fuse is in the fuse box under the dash but to be honest the MK1 or first generation focus had radio problems. The easiest fix is to replace the radio with an aftermarket one.

Is there a fuse or someting for the CD plyer or radio? My CD player wont work.

there is a fuse in fuse box that powers radio...sounds like a problem with radio itself....if fuse was bad it simply would do nothing"no power at all.

Multi disc cd player stopped working..the screen reads disc checking, but will not play or eject the discs...ironically this happened about the same time we had a new battery installed..the radio part...

Figure out what fuse controls the CD player and, with no key in the ignition, pull the fuse out for a minute (or more - I've seen TSBs that say leave the fuse out for 10 minutes), then replace it (theory being that the fuse acts as a reset button). If you cannot find the fuse, you can disconnect the negative battery cable, but you'll lose your radio presets and other settings. Make sure you have any codes for your radio that may be required since disconnecting the battery cables can cause the radio to quit working too. This fuse trick seems to have the greatest chance of success overall. Check your owner's manual - you may have more than one fuse that controls the CD and/or the radio and you may need to remove all the related fuses.

2002 Jetta Sl manual trans. I turned the car off while the radio was playing and when I returned after 15 minutes, the radio screen was blank and it didn't work. I pushed the button multiple times,...

is it the stock radio? fuse box is near the hood release, check the diagram on the inner side of the fuse box plate to find out which fuse it is. If not a stock radio there's probably a blown fuse behind your deck.

I cannot get the CD player to eject the CD. the radio is a standard AM/FM radio with a CD player in a 2005 Ford explorer XLT. after pushing the eject button the radio screen blinks ''EJ err''. The cd...

Turn the radio off first and then disconnect the battery for 2 min then reconnect the battery. This should reset your radio and then you can eject your CD, and reset your stations and clock. Good luck

My Radio and clock screen has went blank volume and controls do not work the clock does not work the radio plays and CD plays but screen is dead. 2001 525I BMW

it sounds like the Multi information display has failed (MID). It is the long display with all the radio controls on it. If you want to find a known good part they are really easy to swap out. Just remove the radio knob and if you look down in there, there is a place to put a T10 (i think maybe bigger or smaller) torx T10 screwdriver.if you turn it while pulling back slightly on the screwdriver it should come right out. It usually is the component that fails but as always you may want to check your fuses.
