Question about 1986 Toyota Pickup 4WD
4x4 will not engage, shifter on transfer case moves smoothly but will not engage front wheels. Also 4x4 indicator light comes on for a second then goes out.
Your transfer case is not working properly, try this trick, shift into 4wd and gently back up the car and go forward and back up again wait for the indicator light to come back again, goodluck, otherwise you need to have those transfer case checked and maintained, have those front hubs checked and maintained too. Its would be better to use your 4WD more often. Try this trick not on a paved road pls.
