The best way is from under the vehicle on a lift, or you can jack up the vehicle and support it with jack stands. You can access the spark plugs between the fire wall and motor from under the vehicle..

The "standard" way to change the rear spark plugs is to remove the upper intake plenum on both the 3.3 & 3.8 litre engines. Once the plenum is removed, the plugs and wires are extremely accessable from within the engine compartment. When reinstalling the upper plenum, be sure to use a new gasket kit - Fel Pro #MS94566, available from local auto parts stores. Home mechanics should be able to perform this task. Double check all hose and electrical connections before starting vehicle.

Replace spark plugs

If you have the 3.0 liter you can rep,ce the air cleaner housing from the back side of the engine and get to the rear spark plugs. The other two v-6 options the rear plugs need to be done from underneath the vehicle.

Change rear spark plugs

Easiest on a lift from underneath. This is probably why they put platinum plugs in a lot of engines now, betting the vehicle will be scrapped before a plug change is needed. You may be able to get them from up top,if you have learned to work blind.I will sometimes zip-tie a mechanics mirror in the right spot to see what I'm doing.

What is the best way to change the rear spark plugs on a 2005 caravan with a 3.3 engine

I recently did the 6 plugs on our 2005 with the 3.8 engine.

It took an hour to do the rears, and 15 min to do the fronts.

Make sure the engine is cold, and put some no seize on the plugs before you install them.

I took my time and started with the pass side rear by reaching around behind. You can see the rear bank much better than on the 96-2000 models.

Use the factory Champion plugs for best results.

Best way to change the rear 3 spark plugs on a 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan AWD

If you can not see the 3 spark plugs from on top with your own eyes that you might have to use ramps underneath the front tires and go underneath the car to see if you can get to them this way. In some vehicles like my daewoo car has a plastic cover that I had to first take off so you can retrace the spark wires from the coil to the spark plugs so use a flashlight to see. If you are replacing to make sure if your vehicle has the right spark plugs and are gapped to your cars specs before replacing them.

Where are spark plugs and the 3 plug wires on 2006 Amanti

Under dash on driver's side
The front spark plugs are easy. To change the rear plugs the top mixing (plenum) chamber has to be removed. This involves removal of cables, electrical connectors, throttle body, vacuum hoses, & rear support brackets. Nasty job. Best left to a professional.
you can buy a book from a parts store whats the car doing that makes you think it needs plugs and wires

Change rear spark plugs 1994 cutlass supreme 3.4

If you got small hands and long arms, you can change the rear spark plugs with the right extensions and swivel spark plug socket. You can get to all three from the top and leaned over the passenger side of the car.
If you need more room, your going to have to tilt the engine forward. Here is how it's done, with the transmission in park and parking brakes on with a block at the BACK wheels. Undo the two dog bone motor mount at the front of the engine, once disconnected with a friend.
Push the car forward once your release the parking brakes, push it just far enough that you tilt the engine forward and not in to the radiator. Once that is done, put on parking brakes and place block at the BACK wheels again, so we don't lose an arm.
This should give you more room to get to the rear spark plugs and yes everything is done by touch to get the plugs out and most likely your going to have to replace the spark plug wires. The old ones will be harder to remove then the front ones and a spark plug wire pliers will works best to removing them.
Thank you for using fixy and be safe, after spark plugs replaced, just reinstall everything the revers.

Best way to remove rear 3 spark plugs 2000 buick Lesabre

Most GM fwd v6s' have to be rolled forward to change the rear plugs. Its not as hard as it sounds though. Usually removing the air cleaner box and then taking the bolts out of the two top wish bone mounts allows you to roll the engine forward enough to change those plugs. You'll just need something to hold the engine forward while you change them. Like maybe a friend or a strap. I hope this helps you.

Changing spark plugs

as you know the front ones are rather easy to get to, but the rear bank is a bear..the best way is on a lift but you can get to them using a 3/8 rachet a 3inch extension and the plug socket.. take the air tube off the throttle body.. reach under the throttle body behind the engine you will feel the plug wires that way.. once you get the wires off the plugs are a pain but changable..

2000 Sienna Change Plugs and Timing Belt

Ijust did the spark plugs and believe me the front ones are piece of cake, but the rear ones, let me tell you, if you know about mechanics, go for it. There is alot of stuff to remove, including the intake plenum, and those spark plug wires casing that is another story. My best advise is if you have a couple of hundred dollars, that is your best choice. As far as the timing belt goes, pay a car shop, there is probably twice or three times more work involved than changing the spark plugs. siennas were designed to be worked on once or twice every five years (major work of course).

I hope this doesn't dissapoint you

Good luck mate
