Question about 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee
I had a similar problem, shift handle wouldn't pull back into 4WD. You'll have to get under the car (safely of course) and locate the the transfer case shift lever which will be directly below the shift lever assembly inside the car..You'll see some rods, trunnions and some brackets which probably will be dirty, rusty etc. Clean them up the best you can then douse everything with WD 40. Keep trying to pull the inside shift lever into 4WD untill the WD40 starts working. It may take a while but it'll work.
