Re: 2001 Dodge Neon Power Locks don't work.
Hi my name is Allen!
You need to first check all your fuses!
Question: Do the locks not work from the driver or the passenger switches, if they do not work from either switch then its a power or ground problem. If they do work from one of the switches then you need the switch that went bad.
Let me know what you find, and we will take it from there!

They are on two different circuits. The windows are on a 25amp circuit breaker, and the door locks are on a 20amp fuse. The door locks go thru a central timer module but the windows don't. Have you checked for power and ground at the driver's door switch ?
yes thats possible, because sometimes like you've explainde some items are on the same fuse, but some items are on the same ground, thus causing something else to appear faulty. so its possible that all of these items are on the same ground and because a fuse or relay for the a/c is faulty, it may cause something else like the dome light and door locks not to work , very crazy with these newer cars.
If you already checked the fuse, you need to check for power to the back of the radio. If power is present there you will need a new radio. Factory radios are expensive, the best bet is to get an aftermarket radio and install it.
