I have 1997 ford escort in that i can drive the left but i cannot drive right i think some joint is broked. I dont know what to do? can is it possible without towing?

Does it happen turning in both direrctions? It could be cv joints. from a standstill,turn the wheel hard to the right and accelerate in a circle. do the same on a left turn. If you hear a clicking sound, it's bad cv joints. inspect the rubber boot for tears & stress cracks. once the grease escapes,the joint is no good
I dont think you have to remove the nut that just frees the cv axle. The rotor is probably rusted on give it a few good hits with a hammer on the front where studs are do not hit brake surface it should free up
hi on my 1997 escort it s on the left front side of engine compartment behind headlamp a big black box you need to undo 4 philips screws to lift off the top there inside is the air filter on mine it is square. hope this is of help
