crankshaft or camshaft position sensor an/or wiring problem, is it petrol or diesel? if its petrol check wiring at front of engine near crank pulley before changing sensor

It seems the engine is asking for a tuneup.

If this is a diesel engine you probably have an air lock in the fuel system. It will need "bleeding" before it will start. If you have already tried bleeding the fuel system there may be an air lock in the injectors. If it still doesn't start I suggest you carry out a compression check because diesel engines need to be in good condition to start easily, especially in cold weather If it is a petrol engine, there could be problems with engine timing or ignition problems.

What can I do ?

First, check the condition and operation of the following:

1) Spark plugs, leads and coil(s)
2) Air filter
3) Fuel filter and pump operation.

If it wont crank the engine then its probable that water has gotten into the starter or engine fuse bay and and damaged either of these. You can try leaving the hood open for a day or two to let the engine bay dry out and see if the car will start but with water damage its best to get it into a dealership or shop right away and to call your insurance company.

Most probably air entered your fuel line going to the injector pump that is why the engine cranks but does not fire. You have to "bleed" the line. I'm not very familiar with F450 diesels but it's easy to locate the bleeder on the injector - it's a screw near the throttle. Loosen up the bleeder screw, crank the engine, if there's air in the line, bubbles will come out of the screw thread. Crank engine until only fuel comes out of the bleeder screw. When the engine is running already, tighten the bleeder screw.

first thing i would check is if your glow plugs are actually any good. next i would check your injectors, then the injector pump make sure it's got the needed pressure. change the fuel filter and reprime the system. if the problem still occurs then look for leaks on the fuel system considering it will start with ether tells me it's somehow losing it's prime.
