Question about 2004 Buick Rainier
At first it registered 30 to 40 mph faster than you were going now it has gone all the way around and sticks at 140mph
I am having the same speedometer problem and have been looking into getting a new cluster set. But I found a website where its less than 100 dollars to replace. just in case you need it. www.myairbags.com

Same problem on our 2005. We paid the dealer several times and they never fixed the problem for any legnth of time, though they always charged us. I am afraid this was such a bad experience we will not purchase another GM. Why does GM spend so much on advertising and so little time standing behind its products.

Well, finally broke down and paid to have the instrument cluster replaced. Only good thing is that the warranty was still in effect and it cost about 80% less than I had feared. Small mercies, I guess!

You may need to get your spring for your speedometer fixed. it may have broken off.
