Engine and transmission mounts bad. All engines have some vibration to them. The mounts are in rubber and they absorb a lot of the vibration.

Got an 97 jeep wrangler the check gauge light well come on then the charging gauge quits, if u start it back up willl work for a while then the same thing

It's possible that the altenator is worn out ( brushes worn down ) The action of starting the engine vibrates the altenator and the brushes contac for awhile. after it quits try wrapping on the altenator with a stick and see if it comes on. If it does take the altenator to the store with you and traded it in for a rebuilt unit.

I have a 1997 manual transmission jeep wrangler and i need to know why i have a vibration in 1st.gear and reverse

vibrations in first, or rev gear, and lessons as speed increases, check all ujionts on front and rear driveshafts, even front axle shaft ujionts, rear driveshaft is at max angle on these units, a bad ujiont will give clink sound, or sreech sound, make sure shafts are not bent. I assume there is no vibs in nuetral, engine running, also check all mounts. GOOD LUCK. RDJRP.
