My car does exactly the same problem, we've tryed wiggleing wires, and pulling off connectors just trying to find what sensor could actualy kill the damn thing!, everytime the click starts, the "check engine" light comes on, and then it will click back on, and switch the light off, and then sometimes it will continuously click on and off, only leaveing me at a standstill on the side of the road =(

everytime it clicks, and puts the error light on, its as if the ignition has just been cut out on me ?

Mitsubishi diamante electronic door switch problem

the following checks need to be made.
All listed components are all share a fuse , and all share the same ground, G200.
Check the fuse/circuit breaker for power on both sides, if OK, follow the harness to connector C214 a 12 pin connector to the right of the glove box opening to see if there is a problem there.
Ground 200 is located on the toe plate at the front edge of the passenger's front door. Check for bad connection there.
If everything is good up to this point you will check The Black/White wire that runs through the main harness under the dash, and splits into several Black/White wires at splice S245, in the main wire harness under the driver side of the dash.

I need to replace the heater core in a 97 mitsubishi eclipse

Unfortunatly there is no easy way to do this. You have to remove the entire dash to get to it. After that it's pretty easy. But it is located close to the firewall behind the dash either on the passenger side or in the middle.

I have a 2003 mitsibishi diamante that has a loud clicking coming from the passange side dash at start up. i can not see that it causes any mechanical problems with the car, but is very annoying for about...

Its the electric actuator motor that opens and closes the fresh air door for the a/c. You will notice the clicking stops when you adjust the a/c temperature setting during the clicking. I got a replacement for my 99 from a junkyard and changed it out. I've seen dozens of complaints of this problem online.....i had thought it was only mine. I guess it was a poorly manufactured part.
