Yes I have the same problem on my 2002 expedition. the air comes out but its only cold air. I have drained and flushed the coolant and refilled it but that did not work. I have checked fuses also. I have no clue as to what is causing the problem. can someone please help me with this issue. rodneykelly_254@hotmail.com

Maybe! Is the blower working, but no hot air? Check the coolant level, if it's low, hot coolant won't flow to heater core so no heat. Is engine temp normal? If coolant level is ok, let me know about engine temp, will continue if needed.

I only have luke warm air coming out my ford expedition (2002) does NOT overheat ! i had it flushed out and new anti freeze put in . still kuke warm air

When you said you had it flushed out, were you talking about the radiator or the heater core. The heater core is a miniature radiator. It can get gummed up just like the big one. You will probably have to remove the heater core and have it rodded out by a radiator shop. If you have done that already then there is a problem with the regulator for the heater. Usually it is a simple valve type open and close system to allow more or less hot water into the heater core.

How to fix a heater that is blowing cold air on a ford expedition 2002

If the engine is reaching normal temp, and both heater hoses are hot, you may have a problem with a blend door under the dash.

2002 expedition heater dont work in front @ all

Would to get in a warm workshop and head under the dash as i think well sure their is a problem with the flap over the top of the heater core rad ,could be a vacumn pipe perished so its not opening or the operating mechanism but if the worst came to the worst case scenario i would hold it open with a spring or a elastic band ,nothing worse than a cold motor especially in ice road trucker land

My 2002 Ford Expedition has a stuck a.c., it doesn't heat up. I replaced the Temperature control unit and the motor for my heater actuator, still no heat? Please help?

Its a faulty heater control valve that is located in between the engine and the heater core or just before the firewall.

The heater in my 2002 Expedition quit blowing out hot air. We flushed & filled the radiator, took the hoses off and ran water through the heater core and finally changed the thermostat. Still after...

two things that I have seen cause that problem is the blend door get stuck or stop working and the Heater Control Valve go bad and stop the hot coolent from going to the heater core. I hope this info helps

Diagram bypass heater cord on 2001 ford expedition eddie bauer

the heater bypass is quite simple, if you look at the firewall you will see two medium sized coolant lines, remove them from the firewall and link them together using a proper sized tube, you can purchase a kit at a parts store quite cheaply
