Question about 1999 Pontiac Bonneville
The problem I have is my car cuts off when I come to a complete stop or when i begin to slow down. I took my car to an auto mechanic and was told my MAS is bad and I need to replace it. I dont have the money right now to replace it. I have done the following: purchased MAS Cleaner, and cleaned the sensor, problem still persists, I have checked the hose going from the air filter to the throttle body for holes ( there are none) I would like to unplug the electrical going to the MAS but I dont know if this would cause damage, I'm thinking if i do this maybe this will tell me if its the actual electrical plug.....HELP!....any ideas??? Please let me know if you need more info/details from me.
Yea .. mine went out also .. i tried other things .. but found an excahnge one at auto zone thats been working fine every since .. just bite the bullet and get it over with .. there is no other solution
