Question about 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 Club Cab
I press the button for heated seat and its makes clicking noise, and control shows it's on the high heat position, but there is no heat.
Normally, I don't hear the clicking noise when I change from on/off/low/high heat.

it is in a self diagnostic mode ...its trying to tell you the the heat element is malfunctioning...depending on the sequence of flashes the element maybe shorted or open

SOURCE: heated seat not working
The heater element for the seat is broken or damaged....It will need to be replaced....The blinking light lets you know there is a problem and does not let power flow to the element. This is for safety reasons to prevent short out or even fire.

The heated seats have relays that run them. Not quite sure where they are located but. That noise is the relay clicking on and off. They are actually pretty loud. Look for faulty connections to and from the relay and check battery power to both sides of the relay.
