Thermovalve (fast idle) in 1986 Honda EX 12V carbu engine

I experience a failure of white thermovalve, the one that is on driver's side of air intake manifold (bearing the carb).
Could it be repaired or how can I replace it (may be get rid of it!).
It is a 3way valve receiving hoses 16, 17, 18.
I could not get the source of those devices !!

Those thermo valves can't be fixed. It sounds like your describing thermo valve A. The one right next to it is thermo valve B, (It's blue) Thermo valve B can be bought new from most good parts houses. I haven't been able to find a new thermo valve A so you may have to go to a junk yard with a hand vacuum pump and find a good one. Good luck with this. Those plastic connectors are very brittle and can be broken easily with a slip of the wrench.

I have a 86 prelude 2.0fi that surges at an idle what might cause this

The first thing I would check is the Idle Air Control Valve. Take it off and clean the two ports with carb cleaner and bolt it back on. The next thing is the Fast Idle Thermo Valve. You can take it off, take off the plate on the side of it, and unscrew the white plastic cylinder inside and remove it. Slide the spring off and clean it well and put it back together. Sometimes air in the coolant system can cause this as well, but its less common. If that's your problem, just bleed the system using the bleeder valve usually around the thermostat housing somewhere.

On my accord ex 2.2l vtec 4cyl the idle was fluctuating so I turned my fast idle unit and it still does it. So then I unplugged my angle sensor connector and my idle went to 3000rpms. What does this mean...

You should never adjust idle on fuel injection, clean throttle body with air intake cleaner and an old tooth brush, idle is ajust by computer trought automatic idle selenoid, fluctuating is normal to a certain point(cleaning catalitic converter)Check engine code

High idle conditions could be a result of low coolant levels causing the fast idle valve under the throttle body to catch air and not operate accordingly as it needs pressure built once car is warmed up to close the gap of allowed air passage reslting in lower idle at time engine reaches operating temperature. Or the valve could simply

Speed sensor problem

you may have more than one problem. check fuse 12 on the dash if it good then the gauge assembly may be bad.
check your transmission fluid level
check your coolant level it could make your idle speed fluctuate, if it's good then check your idle control valve.

Engine idles excesivly high after carb was rebuilt.

You need a new choke pull off. They are around $30 dollars.

I have a 92 honda accord ex that the it idles go

If it does that when the engine is warmed up (full operating temp.) it may be you iac valve, or your fast idle valve. They get gummed up. It also could be your PVC valve, but probably not.:

IAC in red. Fast Idle in yellow. Your PVC valve is plugged into the valve cover (the black hose in between the red and yellow in the picture) it simply pulls out. It should rattle when shaken.
Hope this gives you a start on the problem.

1986 Honda Accord DX - too high idle on cold start

1986-1989 Honda Accord with Carburetor have a very bad habit that is little known even by most mechanics but easily fixed at home. The vacuum port on the choke opener that is connected to the intake manifold and both vacuum ports on the fast idle unloader get plugged up with nasty hard carbon almost as hard as metal. When this happens the choke sticks closed and the idle sticks on fast idle when the engine is cold and nobody can figure out why. All you have to do is attach a small drill bit to the end of a flexible socket-driver extension and put it in a variable speed drill that will let you run it real slow and carefully drill out the vacuum ports that are plugged. After they are nice and clean use a vacuum pump tester to make sure the choke opener and fast idle unloader are working before putting it all back together. It's amazing how much better the car runs after cleaning out those ports.

1997 honda civic 1.6 revving up and down

The most common cause of this is a air pocket in the cooling system, If you've done a coolant flush, changed a hose, radiator, etc..Im not saying that every honda that has a surging idle has this problem but I've worked at a honda dealership for over 10 years and I see this quite often. Let the car idle with the cap off for a while and if that still doesnt do it, jacking up the car as high as you can on the left side while its idling works too..theres a 25 tool thats basically just a funnel that stops this problem if you do alot of your own mechanical work.
