Question about 2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
Whenever I go to an area with an extreme temperature change, (70 degrees to 18 degrees), my speedometer stops working. My odometer has not worked for about 18 months. My vehicle has 120,000 miles on it. The last time this happened, it started working again after a day or so, upon returning to warmer temperatures. I'm not sure it will this time.
Very familiar problem....you have bad stepper motors...sooner or later all of your cluster gauges will go out. cost 175.00 to replace all the motors to the new gen motor that will last.

The speedo is electronic, this is for sure a speedo issue, either have it repaired by an authorized GM electronics repair center or replace it.
