Noise front and rear struts

Remove the struts & then have a repair shop
change out the top bearing plate,do both sides,
then have it aligned

since it is a lexus i would not advise going cheap. the struts will probably cost around $350. the motor mounts will probably run around a grand since so much work is involved.

would be a good idea but not absoluly necessary.

have you replaced the bushings on the sway bar and Strut/shock tower?? When driving slow, is the noise constant or only when bumps are hit?

Be carefull , you will need spring compressor tools to do the job. The springs are compressed quite a bit and if you just undoo the top nut for the strut , you could kill yourself. Don't doo wheel bearings unless you know they are bad. Not sure about your lexus , but most modern cars have sealed bearings pressed in place.

Sounds like the sway bar stabilizing links are shot.

Noise is not a danger, but if the car starts to bounce allot then it becomes a safety issue, at that point the struts have to be replaced, they must be done in pairs only..
