How do you add power steering pump to 95 toyota tercel

Do you need to replace an existing pump or is your car currently manual steering? If it is manual steering there will be more than just adding a pump. The actual steering rack is most likely different from a power steering unit so there would be multiple components required to convert. If your pump is faulty, you just need to disconnect the lines, remove the belt then remove the pump and install the new one. While you are doing that I would flush the old fluid out of the rack to increase life span of steering rack.

Where is the power steering reservoir located on the 1990 Toyota Carolla?

Make sure that your vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is cool before you check fluid levels. Power steering fluid and other fluids read at different levels when warm instead of cool. Locate the power steering fluid reservoir. It is located under the hood of your Toyota Corolla on the passenger side next to the engine. The reservoir is connected to the power steering pump. Remove the cap and use the dipstick to check the fluid level. For the most accurate reading, clean off the dipstick with a rag first, then re-insert and remove for the fresh reading. Add automatic transmission fluid or power steering fluid approved for use in Toyota vehicles if the fluid is below the low level mark. Add fluid gradually to keep for over filling the reservoir.
this will help.thanks.

I have a 1994 toyota tercel with a 1995 motor do I tell if its a 2E or not

If you have a '95 motor it should be a 5E-FE. The Tercels from '91-'94 had the oil burning no good 3EE. You can tell quickly if your engine has 16 valves.

Locate the power sterring on a 1995 toyota tercel

If u have the original owners manual it would show the location, but unfortunately most people throw them out, and u probably bought the car w/ no manual. So, the power steering pump is powered by a belt that spins a round pulley on the pump. There should be a screw off cap (about the same size as your oil fill cap on the engine) where u add fluid. So, look for this pump by looking at the belts where they attach to pulleys and spin the different components. If U could post several pictures I can help u find it. Find it asap, as u can damage the pump if u run it w/ low fluid.
