On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door
Not exactly. According to the wiring diagrams, the heated seats are controlled by several fuses and two modules, plus two relays, along with input from the HVAC module. There is a module and a relay for each seat heater. The mirrors are controlled by several other fuses and modules. You may need a shop manual to trace the circuits. All of the fuses involved are in the box in the engine compartment.
your mirror control switch has 9 wires.,your drivers door mirror has 5 wires color coded .from your mirror control switch to your drivers siide mirror / 0.5 black .0.5 brown. 0.5 brown. 0.5 black. 0.5 black. your passenger mirror wires are 0.5 blue/black .0.5 blue/grey. 0.5 blue/white. the passenger mirror has a ground cable 0.5 brown. the passenger mirror wire 0.5 green/white connects to a 5amp fuse/F25 onto F31 5amp to a wire 0.75 green/yellow.back to the mirror control switch.
Sounds like a fuse. Are you getting power to the driver door module (control cluster as you say). Below are 3 pictures for you. The first one is the location where the fuse box is located for that fuse (under drivers seat in the rear). The second picture is a diagram or the latout of the fuses. The fuse you want to check is the fuse marked "LT DOORS" or the one marked 02. It should be a 25 amp fuse. The 3rd picture is a wiring diagram for the circuit. If the fuse isn't blown check the power wire from the fuse box to the driver door control module. Sounds like a power issue. Anymore questions or diagrams that you need, feel free to email me at [email protected] and I should have and will send if you need anything else. I hope this helps and good luck.

if you have power mirrors on both sides and they both only work side to side, most likely the switch.Highly unlikely but it is possible for both sides up and down to go out. without a wiring diagram and a test light you would be best to attempt to replace the control.
I researched the maintenance manual. The fuse you need to replace is fuse 20 in the under dash fuse box. It controls side windows, washer motor, rear view dim function, and possible seat memory. There are a couple that link to the mirrors, but this is the one for this problem.
