Question about 2001 Chevrolet Blazer
The other day we got snow in Indiana where I live I put my truck in 4 wheel drive because the roads were icey, I went to put it back in 2whl drive high, the light blinks I hear some clicking in the module and the transfer case shift motor energizes under the truck, then it goes back to 4whl high. Im hearing poss. transfer case control module. Thanks hope you can help me. The vehicle is a 2001 Chevrolet Blazer.
I had the same solution with 2005 blazer......dont know how but this worked...........removed the courtesy lifgt fuse for approx. 10 minutes....put fuse back in and voila..able to shift out of 4 wheel drive

Well I replaced the Transfer Case Control Module and the 4 button selector swith on the dash, and my 20001 Chevrolet Blazer Lt is still stuck in 4whl. drive high. Does anyone have any advice on this, Ive also already checked all fuses under the hood and in the truck, all are ok.

Had the same issue with a 2000 Blazer. It turned out to be the transfer control module like you said. Pretty good guess that's what's wrong with it. Been pretty cold here in Indy too...but we haven't seen but a few flakes so far. Hope this info proves to be useful! Have a nice night!
