You won't, These kinds of things don't exist online for free. A Haynes or Chilton manual is what you need and will cost around $20 from the local car parts store such as NAPA, Checker, AutoZone, ect.

Let me know if you need anything else

SOURCE: blown head gasket

I would change both, as well as use new head bolts. Make sure your heads are not warped or cracked, especially the one that is leaking. There may not be any need to change the head if it is not cracked. These are prone to blowing a gasket especially after 150K miles or so. It will not cost a huge additional amount to change both head gaskets since the engine will have to be disassembled down to the heads anyway. Hope this helps you, Rick

SOURCE: How to put head gasket on 1999 FORD TOURS

If you do not want to buy a manual (and if you do buy one, i recommend Haynes), you can get a free one by logging on to autozone.com and registering. Add your car to your garage and they let you use online manuals similar to a Haynes' or Chilton's with diagrams. i cannot say for certain how good it will be, though, as i have had some good and some not as good experiences with their manuals. But, hey, for free? It is at least worth a look.

i hope this is helpful

SOURCE: what gaskets do I need

Head bolts and head gaskets. Let's see, you will need a lower and upper intake set as well. These head gaskets usually blew because bad fan relays caused the gaskets to blow and warped the heads. Ford used cheap oil pressure switches that leaked as well.

have a compression test done as the bubbles suggest a blown head gasket or cracks. That will account for the overheating. The oil leak may be from the head gasket or cracks.

I replaced the heater hoses and now there is water coming out of the exhaust pipe

A minor amount of moisture collects in exhaust pipe on a normal basis. Larger amounts indicate a possible blown head gasket. Check oil dipstick for possible water/antifreeze in oil. Had vehicle overheated or hose blown to require replacement? [excessive temperature might lead to head gasket's demise.]

I HAVE 1997 FORD TAURUS, AND IT HAD AN OIL LEAK, HOW CAN I TELL IF IT IS THE OIL PAN OR A BLOWN HEAD GASKET?

the head gasket is on the engine higher than the oil pan so if the leak is not were the head meets the cylinder block and running down towards the bottom of the motor then the head gasket is not the problem.if the leak is only around the oil pan area and slightly above it then its probably the oil pan that is leaking.fluid leaks travel backwards or downwards not up.

Antifreeze leaking into cylinders on 2000 ford taurus

more than likely,,,a blown head gasket,,this gasket seals the water ports in addition to cylinders,,expensieve repair,,less,,if you do it yourself,,has your car overheated,,,that can blow a gasket quickly,,,sometimes it will also leak on the outside of the engine,,look for leaks,,either way,,probably needs new head gasket,,good luck.

This problem is commom with the ford taurus. to check for a blown head casket ; you can pull your spark plugs and check them to see if any of them has moisture on them and also while the plugs are out turn the motor over and see if there is any water any any ofthe cylinders; But no you dont have to pull the motor out. i just went through this with my taurus it wound up costing me around $800.00 . getting the heads checked and resurfaced was the most exspensive part. i done the work myself so i didn't have any labor cost to put out other than the work on the heads.

99 taurus overheated and wont start i think it lost compression?

You may of blown the head gasket.Check the oil to see if there is any coolant mixed in by draining it and looking for greenish film. You also may be able to see coolant (antifreeze) on the bottom of the oil filler cap before you drain it.If you see it that pretty much means the cylinder head gasket is blown

Motor runs cold

by the sounds of things your head gasket might be split you could get a compression test done at most local garages if there is any problem in the test then your head gasket is most likely blown and will need replaceing, its not a small job and might cost a bit.
