Question about 1994 Volkswagen Jetta
Car was driven through a ditch and the air bags deployed. Brake lights stay on since the bags deployed. Brake light switch appears to be set correctly. All fuses are good.
Hi from uk you say b/light switch appeares to set properly ?? have removed the elec plug from switch and see if b/light go off? if they go off? then the switch is either not adjusted correctly so when pedal is released the plunger of switch is not being pushed back fully into switch and puttin lights off ? OR running into ditch?? did you press brakes in terror hard to try to avoid? the pedal may be bent slightly? giving same symptom as described above re plunger ? if remove switch and work manually with wire attached and lights stay on with plunger pressed fully in? then switch is fault? please try the above trial/s and come back with update or if you req further help ? best wishes hope this helps /
