AmarilloperrIf you have never done this type of repair before then it is probably true that you have installed your serpentine belt on wrong. Go to the Autozone parts store and ask them for a copy of the diagram to properly install the belt. Thank you for adding your comment Bill ASE Master Technician

POSSIBLE - * MAF sensor (Mass Air Flow Sensor) has gone BAD causing car to start then shut back off . * Security has kicked in ( Due to changing stereo system or battery went dead or didn't have one on it for a little while .
FIXES - *Replace Mass Air Flow Sensor (in between the throttle and the air filter box) . * Take to Dealer and have computer Flashed/Reset if SECURITY is at Fault . I recommend the MAF sensor

You may want to check and see if the ECT (Engine Coolant Sensor) is faulty. It should drive the temperature gauge and if it's bad, it could be telling you that the engine is overheating when it is actually running at normal temprature.
These cars have been known to have bad radiator fan relays/condensor fan relay. they're located on drivers side,in small relay box attached to radiatortop support bracket.that relay is also common with several others on car so you could `technically swap out with another identical relay from car for testing purposes.anyways.
it varies from manufacturer to manufacturer but typically it is recommended to be replaced between 60K - 100K miles. A visual inspection of the belt for cracks, missing teeth, or parting will also help you determine if the belt needs to be replaced.
First open the hood of your car and check where the leak is coming. Thermostat gasket is one source but it could also come the radiator, radiator hose, or the water pump. Check all these items, and you can do the repairs by replacing the defective parts. Except for water pump that really needs a mechanic to replace the bearings and the mechanical shaft seal.
