Question about 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier
Driver side power window on 96 cavalier sometimes stops working half way up or down. While window does not work I put volt meter on window motor leads and I get around 4 volts. I have 12 volts at rocker switch. I get 12 volts at window up pin on rocker. I get 12 volts on window down pin on rocker. Somewhere between rocker switch and window motor leads Im losing voltage. Only thing I see on Chiltons electrical schematic is a cicuit breaker. Does anybody know where it is located.
Check the wireing to the window motor an at the conector as well where it comes thru the door =- i have seen them break there an its covered === also check the circuit breaker in the fuse pannel position number 16 in the breaker for the window motors ok
