There should be a bolt that goes through a rubber boot. The rubber boot grasps the lip on the bottom of the battery. If you can access this bolt and remove it, then you should be able to pull the battery straight out, provided the cables will allow you enough clearance to do so. Otherwise, you'll have to disconnect the cables before pulling it out. Hope this helps solve your problem. Have a great day!

2003 dodge durango heater only works on high

It's the resistor pack. It's a common Dodge/Jeep issue. This is a circuit board under the passenger side dashboard, below the glovebox that has a couple of resistors (Stepping down the voltage from your battery to run at the lower speeds. High speed gets full voltage)
Dealership should have the replacement for $20 or less. Get the new one before you take the old one out so that you can see what it looks like, what to look for and how it goes in.
Removal is simple. You'll see a wiring harness that plugs into a socket that is held in place by 2 screws under the dash. Unplug the wiring harness from the connector. Remove the 2 screws and it'll drop right into your hands.
Installation is just as simple. Hold the new one in place and replace the 2 screws. Plug the wiring harness back in and you'll be good to go!

Under the dashboard on the passenger side

Look for a wiring harness that plugs in just to the left of the blower motor.

Remove the harness and you'll see 2 screws holding it in place. Remove the screws and the resistor will fall right out. Hold the new one in place and replace the screws and plug the wiring harness back in and you're done.

Reprogram 2005 Dodge Durango key fob

Go to the dealer. It is the only way, they have to use a computer. Changing the battery doesn't make it lose it's program though. You most likely broke the battery hold down. This is the most common thing I see at my shop. If the key still starts the vehicle, you now have a bad key fob. If not, you may be able to get it reprogrammed.
