Question about 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse
Random intervols going down the highway. fuel will shut off and sometimes comes back on. if i turn the key off and back on while driving down the road the fuel will come back on for 30 sec to 15 min. its completly random. how can i tell if its a fuel delivery problem or an eletrical problem?
If it's an electrical problem, it's most likely your fuel relay. Try metering your fuel relay with a voltage meter. If you have voltage coming in, but not going out, then your relay is bad. If your relay is ok, chances are you either have a short in your wiring or your fuel pump is starting to give out on you. Your best bet's on the relay though. Hope this helps solve your problem. Have a great day!
