If it's an electrical problem, it's most likely your fuel relay. Try metering your fuel relay with a voltage meter. If you have voltage coming in, but not going out, then your relay is bad. If your relay is ok, chances are you either have a short in your wiring or your fuel pump is starting to give out on you. Your best bet's on the relay though. Hope this helps solve your problem. Have a great day!

Engine cuts out driving down the highway but will start right up again. Check engine light does not come on

HOW MANY MILES? Where/ how has vehicle been driven: (loads of miles in in dusty conditions?) have you checked for a plugged fuel filter? or tested the fuel pump? inspected wiring to the fuel pump? how about the gas cap -- seriously! there could be a vapor lock going on... is this random or is there some pattern to when it cuts out? (say after so many miles etc?)

Car will shut down at random times. There is no pattern to it either. It will shut down at a traffic light, on the highway, or on city streets. I have power everywhere else: lights, radio, and everything...

It could be an electrical problem or a fuel problem somewhere, but I suspect the CPS (crankshaft position sensor) is going bad. When this starts going out, the car will shut off at anytime, but it will sometimes start right back up and sometimes a couple of hours. But I will say, if this is the problem it will leave you stranded. Good Luck.

does it start up and die again real quick and can you keep it going with your foot on the gas. if it does and you can it is probably the idle air control valve or the throttle position sensor. if it doesn't and it just turns over try the ignition control module. my 94 park ave did something similar but it shut down and wouldn't start back period and then i cleaned the chip on the key and it fired right up.

Mazda Tribute 2002 engine cuts out randomly

I had a Mazda 626 with a similar problem, the car seemed to 'shut down' with no warning, even at highway speeds, as if I just turned the ignition key to 'Off'; After trying to fix it unsuccessfully by replacing several electrical parts, the problem was found to be a defective ignition switch, it was replaced and the problem went away.

Volvo will not start, no fuel pump sound

You should hear a hum from the gas tank when u turn the key to on for about 5 seconds, if not the pump is most likely bad, to replace the pump u must remove the fuel tank, remember to replace the fuel filter when u do the pump.

Car dies going down the road

First thing i would check would be the fuel filter. Sometimes, when they first start to give problems, there is enough gas to keep them idling or driving around town, but when you get on the highway they starve for fuel.

I had a similar problem with My 94 S10. Are you geting black smoke and does the smoke smell really rich like gas?

If this is the case you may need to open up your plennum again where your spider injectors are and take a look at the fuel lines themselves. They are pre-formed by the factory and come into the plennum near the back left right side of your motor. Leave the battery connected and have someone go into your truck and turnthye key to the "ON" position, you know where the fuel pump primes the lines, and check to see if those lines are spraying into your motor. Mine had hairline cracks in them but because they are under like 75psi they shot gas like crazy into the motor making the truck run SUPER rich and it was hard to keep it started.

This could be why your mechanic says that you have good fuel line pressure, cracks in your lines may be too small to make a huge difference in the pressure reading, but all that extra fuel being dumped in your motor will really give your ECU a hard time.

The bad thing is since these are a factory part, you may have to shell out some $$$. I think I paid like $85??? for mine, but that was back in 2003.

I hope this helps! Good Luck!
