If you consider when you take you vehicle in to get an oil-change a service check, then you'll need to take it back in at 88,000 miles. However, if you're talking about a service check referring to you periodic inspection of suspension, brakes, belts, components, transmission, etc., then I would say that you'll need to take it back for another service check at 100,000 mi. Hope this answers your question. Have a great day!

Your owners manuel will give you the desired intervals for service. It also depends if your last one was a major or minor service. Minors are usually 15,000 miles apart, with majors being at 30,000 mile intervals.

2003 expedition won't start after sitting overnight. New battery new altermator.

Look for something draining the battery overnight such as a light or some accessory that should turn off after a delay. One of our Ford experts may be able to pinpoint the problem with your Expedition

What does a tuneup cost?

Why would you pay someone to replace an air filter?

There haven't been tune-ups in 25 years,only spark plugs
left from those days

You ask because you have never had that service your asking

I have 2003 expedition that became hard to steer and fluid smells burnt and is dark was wondering if not the pump what else could it bee

Worn Steering Rack

That is what happens when you do not change the
power steering fluid every 30,000 miles

Same 30,000 fluid change for all transmissions
That will be the next thing to fail

My 2003 Ford Expedition runs rough at idle and the service light started blinking.

it sounds like you need to tune up your vehicle. whenever the service light blinks it usually means you have a miss fire. You can take it to auto Zone to retrieve the code. The code should tell you what cylinder is miss firing.Hope this helps. Please leave comment.

180,000 mile scheduled service

looking at my repair manual....the ford expedition only goes to a 60,000 mile schedule. so my input would be that the dealer will run a computer check which is $95 minimum and go from there. They will also run a drivetrain check and performance check. they will probably check for leaks, serpentine belt wear, front end and brake issues etc..basically everything and anything you ask for. i usually do all my own preventative maintenance. if they try to tell you something is wrong and you have not had any problems i would get a second opinion from a reputable garage before i would let the clowns start dismantling your vehicle.

You say you don't tow anything and you only got 85,000 mi. on the truck i don't think it is neceassery. Just chg.filter and oil and blow out the cooling lines and you should be good to go. I'am not saying its a bad or an expensive procedure i just don't think its neceassery.
