Question about 2000 Dodge Caravan

2006 grand caravan

When you put the key in my dispaly lights come on but, they don't go out. The lights are on outside also. it's like their is something wrong witht the internal computer. It doesn't show what gear it goes in or any other gauges in that reguard. Please help!

Sounds like a possible issue with the Body Control Module (BCM), which controls these functions. One possiblility you might try is disconnecting the battery's negative terminal/cable for several minutes, therefore "clearing" or "resetting" the BCM. If this still does not solve the problem, I'd get it to a local dealer for proper diagnosis. A lot of parts and money can be thrown at this one for trying the "shotgun" approach, so please be careful.

What's your problem? i have 2006 dodge grand caravan. left turn signal flashes real fast when i use the signal. the rear siognal will not show up when this happens. it is intemittent


@ Don Reed, all you need do is to check to be sure the rear signal bulb is working, if its not, then change it, that will solve the problem.

Bring the new battery back to where you bought it and have them check it. Check that the neutral wire (black) is secure to the engine frame. Also check that the wire ends are clean before reconnecting.

How do you get to the driver side turn signal bulb on a 2006 dodge caravan


Rear open hatch. Remove 2 retaining pop fasteners, turn taillight towards outside of van. Don't break hook(tab) on the light assembly. Squeeze the tab on bulb pull bulb straight out. Check hook grommet on van. Replace if cracked can cause water leak on van
