How to Replace Headlight Bulb on 2005 Prius?

Remove fender well trim ( a few screws)
Remove front bumper COVER (not the bumper- the plastic cover)
About 14 screws. Mostly on the underside, get a creeper, and a few
on the top.

Remove the (left or right side) Headlight assembly ( a couple more screws).
One assembly contains the headlight, turn signal and running light. Unplug
the electrical connector from the assembly. All bulbs remove from the back
of the headlight assembly. Headlight is held in place by bail wire, smaller
bulbs are 1/4 turn.

I need to get to the tail light/turn signal on my 2006 focus hatchback. wing nut and one screw on the flange are off, but the assembly seems stuck at the upper tip.

there may be a clip-in inside which is holding the unit in, look and scope out around the area, remove any carpeting out the way to see any angles which may be hiding a place where a screw can remain hidden, once you have checked and took out any visible screws, take the assembly and pull it off with some force, it will pop right off. you will see a white tab-push in clip which is holding the assembly securely. Once the assembly is removed you can swap the bulbs.

I am trying to replace a bulb in the rear tail light of my Chevrolet Lacetti. I have opened the tailgate and removed the two screws which hold in the light assembly but still cannot get the assembly out. I...

Try to turn the two plastic things counterclockwise to loosen them...on many GM tail assemblies these are actually hold-down screws...to re-install insert onto bolt and turn clockwise to securely tighten...you probably did not have to remove the two other screws...Hope this helps.

How do i change a headlight bulb in a 2005 dakada?

There are three screws that hold the light assembly in on each light.
If you look at the bottom of the light you will see a small cut out on the light assembly. One of the screws in located there. You may need a flash light to see the screws. The other two screws are located on the side of the light assembly toward the center of the truck. They are covered by a rubber gasket assembly. One on toward the top of the light assembly and one near the bottom. The three screws have star heads so you will need the correct size to remove them. Once you remove the three screws you can then pull the assembly out. It will be tight because it has a guide screw attached to the assemly to ensure the light go into the correct position. Once you have the assembly removed you can see the bulb housing. You just twist the tabs to remove the bulb. You can then disconnect the wiring by pulling back on the red locking tab on the wiring harness. This will allow you to then remove the bulb and replace it with your new one. Reverse the instructions above to replace them. Good Luck

How to access tail light bulb in 2005 ford f-150

Drop the tailgate, on the inside of bed where tailgate closes are couple of screws. These hold the light assembly in the bed. remove the screws, then remove light assembly. The light bulb can be removed from back of the tail light assembly. Check to make sure the lightbulb work before you put the tail light back together. Good luck and hope this helps and don't forget to add some grease to the light socket to prevent corrosion.

On an 05 escape there appear to be only 2 screws holding the brake light cover. I've taken them off but the cover seems really secure along the outer edge and the body panel. I'm if I give it a good yank...

How to get the tail lights changed?

I just made the change on a 2005 ZX-5. Removing the screw on side and the big plastic "wing nut" on the inside was all that was necessary to remove the taillight assembly. I had to jiggle it a lot because one other clip had to be pulled out. It was on the outer edge of the assembly. I was a bit concerned that I might break something but it all worked out.
A 1/3rd turn of the bulb holder allowed it to be removed. I had everything back together in about 2 minutes.

Removing Headlight Assembly on 2003 Ford Focus Ultimate Edition

Jack up the front of the vehicle. Secure the vehicle with at least once JACK STAND. Open the hood of the car. Remove the front grill. Remove the fasteners on the head light assembly that are located on the exposed inner fender and the one that was under the front grill. Lay on your back and look between the front fender and the head light assembly. You only have about 4 inches. Remove that screw. All screws are either Phillips or torks.
