Question about 2001 Daewoo Lanos
My 1.4 daewoo lanos has been Idling at between 2000 and 3000 rpm.
I've owned one of these cars before and had the same problem which I solved by removing the Idle Rev Valve and cleaning it, this doesn't work with the current car and I'm unsure of what else could be causing it.
Hi there the problem describe is a common problem you need to take the car into your dawoo/chevrolet dealer as there was a reprogramme that need s to be downloaded to your ecu to fix the problem should only take about 30 mins so should not cost you to much i used to have around 10 to 15 a week to do

Never heard of an idle rev valve but try looking for an air leak on manifold, check tightness of securing bolts ,also any airline pipes that run to air con unit for opening the flaps,i think it could be a rubber connector perished
