I CHECK MY 156 AT THE OFFICIAL WORKSHOP. THE VDC LIGHT TERNS ON SOMETIMES IF YOU AJUST THE STEARING. THE FUSES AT THE BASE OF THE STEARING ARE SENSITIVE SO BY PULLING THE STEARING MIGHT REMOVE THEM SO THERE IS NO CONNECTION. VDC IS A SYSTEM THAT CONTROLS THE ENGINE IN ACCORDING WITH THE ABS AND THE PS SYSTEMS. THE SPECIFIC PROBLEM CAN BY SOLVED ONLY IN MINUTES

Possible causes
- Faulty Brake Switch
- Brake Switch harness is open or shorted
- Brake Switch circuit poor electrical connection

The P0573 codes is set when the stop light switch signal is too high.
Possible symptoms
- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)

P0573 Description
When the brake pedal is depressed, the stop light switch sends a signal to the Engine Control Module (ECM). When the ECM receives this signal, it cancels the cruise control.

What does Brake light,VDC light and slip lights on . This happened when brake pedal pulsates, but I do have brake pedal.

See if the following information helpful:
1. Keep an eye on the dashboard for the indicators marked "SLIP" and "VDC Off" which will tell you the status of the computerized handling system if handling isn't normal. "SLIP" will blink when VDC is operating. "VDC OFF" means the system is off. Turn the VDC system back on if the Nissan's handling is poor by pressing the "VDC Off" button until the light goes out.

2. Adjust your driving if "SLIP" comes on. "SLIP" means the road conditions may be slippery. The VDC aids in steering and stopping, but be careful, even if VDC is engaged.

3. Remove any aftermarket suspension parts like enhanced shock absorbers if the "VDC Off" light comes on and handling is bad. The VDC system is geared for stock equipment and tires only. Use winter tires or snow chains on snow-covered roads. VDC won't substitute for the correct winter equipment.

4. Don't drive on very inclined corners with high banks and leave the VDC switch on if the handling is poor with VDC on. The system can't operate properly in that environment. Disengage VDC, or avoid those kinds of roads.

Once I've stopped the enginge(off the Ign by key), it's very very hard to restart again and sometimes totally cannot start again. I've to wait for long long time to restart. Can say cannot restart if

Do the dash lights come on? You might want to check the security system because at times it could be setting the anti theft kill switch, and after waiting a bit it will reset itself.... It could also be a bad ignition switch. Good luck!

CHECK TURN SIGNAL FUSE.IT COULD BE BLOWED OR YOU HAVE FAULTY TURN SIGNAL SWITCH.BECAUSE BACK LIGHTS AND TAIL LIGHTS SHARE SAME CIRCUIT WITH TURN SIGNAL SWITCH.

The turn signal switch is grounding out somewhere which is probably at the switch and may need to be replaced. That is laziness on the dealers part for not checking the obvious. Tighten the gas cap completely and drive the car 40 to 50 miles and if the system is sealed, the light should go away. Please rate me on this answer.

When I am sitting at a stop light the engine almost stalls but when I am driving it is fine. I just replaced all the plugs, air filter and gas cap.

you will need to replace the idle air control, or sometimes clean it. Do you have a check engine code? this will help to sove your problem.

2003 Expedition turns off while driving and check engine light stays on? Will turn right back on but 5 minutes later will turn off again?

When you have the service light come on all the time is simply indicates that there are detected error codes by the car computer that requires an attention.

It does not necessarily mean that it is a problem that will make the car not to run but you will need to get a scantoool to enable you determine what the actual issue is.

Please scan the car.

Cheers.

Hi,i have a 96 accord 4 cyl. vtec. just recently there has beeen a power loss issue. i have changed the alternator, check the ignition switch, tested fuses , battery seems fine, connections are good no...

check the alternator voltage , it has to be 13.8 to 14.4 vdc. it sounds like your car is running off the battery alone. Sometimes a bad battery will take out an alternator, and after replacing it goes again.Check all connections, and check the feedback terminal on the alternator is telling the alternator to switch on.
