Looks like your Idle Speed Control Servo is playing up. It's a device that controls your idling speed and any load compensation on the engine as well (raising the idle speed when turning the steering, whern turning your lights on...etc). A visit to the dealer should confirm the fault as they can plug in the diagnosis machine to check the proper operation of it. Let us know how you get on. Cheers.

Why dose my 2002 audi A4 loose power and almost stop?

First, check the condition of the following:

1) Spark plugs
2) Spark plug leads
3) Air filter
4) Fuel filter
5) Coils

6) [Assuming the first items are found in good working order] Idle control valve operation and cleanliness.

Mitubishi l200 when starts it revs madly

Check the condition of the idle control valve. This is the favorite culprit of poor idling conditions.

Revs too high

EGR Valve and pdfe sensor control idle speed. Go to the parts store and ask them to show you where the parts are. PDFE sensor is probably not working right. Any codes? And what do you mean your converters are empty? If the converters where gone it would give you lean or rich code.

I have had the same problem, replaced everything. Have not solved it. Sometimes car stops completely whilst driving. Your problrm will only happen when air con is on. There is a small electronic box under glove box. Turn small dial to the low postition or high, whichever fixes it and also bring your revs up with the idle screw on throttle body. I still have not solved my engine cut out problem, must be a faulty relay. I have replaced the computer and distributor but still have the problem

Sounds like your throttle is sticking, try looking under the hood for a cable that come out of the firewall. WD40

Speedo will cut out when driving

Sounds like your "speed sensor" is failing. When it fails it will cause irregular shift patterns and engine idle speeds.

My car drives itself, revs high when in park to point of stalling

Bad or dirty IAC( idle control Valve) Romve duct work from air cleaner. Spray throttle cleaner or carburator cleaner with car running at about 1000 -1200 rpms . Aim straight at the IAC inside the throat of the throttle body. It is to the side of the throttle body . Try to aim at the hole and spary 10 seconds into the throttle body. Turn of the engine and let it sit for a few minutes. Then repeat the process. If that does not work, replace the IAC.
