Heater working improperly

2000 Buick LeSabre equipped with the "Dual Automatic Comfortemp Climate Control" only delivers heat to driver's side of the cabin....air is coming through passenger side, but it is cold. Messed with the passenger door control, ran the system up & down through its paces to see if something would re-register, but nothing changed. When cycling through the various vent cycles, you can hear the system opening/closing the doors, etc. and all seems to be working properly. Air flow is fine, just the temperature (on passenger side) is affected.

I have exactly the same problem but sometimes the warm air won't come out of the driver's side. It's probably something simple but I don't know what it is.

i have a 2001 Buick Lesabre with dual temperature controls and it only blows cold air through the passenger side, even when the temperature control indicates it's at its highest level.  The driver"s side works fine.

Check the actuator motors on the heater, there is two one for passenger and one for driver side. They allow the air to be directed from the heater or ac.

SOURCE: 1998 buick park avenue drivers side blows cold, passenger side hot

sounds like the drivers temp door actuator is not working should be located on the drivers side of the air box down by the gas pedal or center dash area.

SOURCE: NO LED Read out for Dual Automatic Comfortemp Climate Control

This is a chronic problem on the LCD display for Buick Century/Regal cars with the climate control HVAC system. The problem is most often some of the resistors on the PCB will get a "cold solder" joint and need to be fixed by remelting the solder and adding a bit more fresh solder. Remove the unit from your dash and inspect all the solder joints. Chances are you'll see one of them that is "loose."

A/c air blowing warm air driver side/ passenger side cold while a/c running

I would bet that your vehicle has what they call dual climate control. This feature allows for a great variance in tempature from driver to passenger side of the vehicle. Take a look at your owners manual as to how to turn it off. I believe there will be a button on your climate control that says "Dual" hit that button and retry it should answer your problem
