Question about 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier
I was driving my car 20 mph in a residential neighborhood when it all of a sudden cut off. When it died all the lights on my panel went on. I thought perhaps that it had not gotten enough juice from the battery although I had been driving for 10 minutes. So I turned the car off and let it roll to a stop. Then I tried to turn the car back on, but nothing. It acts like it wants to start, but it does not turn over. It has 3/4 full tank of gas and the oil is fine.
Help, please. Thank you
Cavaliers DO NOT have any such sensor in the transmission that will shut off the car if the fluid gets low. Most likely the fuel pump has went out, it is electric and in the gas tank. G.M. line tech 27 years experiance.
