Question about 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee
It's a V8 and had been driving fine until the other day when the "Check Engine" light came on. then i noticed the following 3 things:
1.) the display panel went blank and then came back on flashing with the wrong date and time, etc. like an alarm clock after the power has gone out.
2.) the needle on the battery gauge was in the red while idled at a stop light. it came down a little while in motion, but back in the red at the next light.
3.) the "ABS" light next to the "Check Engine" light came on.
somebody told me it may be something called the "Oxygen Sensor." could this be? thanks in advance
Did u try to find out what error code u have? if not turn the key over 3 times not full just to get a current flowing, on the third turn over leave it turned over and your engine light should flash twice a few seconds after the other. that lets u know that ur into the computer and now it will flash a certain amount of times depending on the code just keep count on how many times it does and look the code up in the manuel. it may get u closer to a solution

It sounds like u have a power drain somewhere check your battery to see if its good and charging if not then your alternator is failing
