When you open the driver's side door it is located on the side of the of the dash, it has a panel over it that just pops off, when you remove that panel on the back of it, it will have a layout of all of the fuses and there purpose, I beleive the one for the radio is # 14 and is a 10 amp fuse.

2002 dodge stratus...radio does not work, clock is on and working, but no sound. instaled another factory radio same problem. installed aftermarket radio same problem. fuses checked, all good.

There is more than one fuse for the radio. I know that one controls the power and there is also one for the memory and sometimes they have a third fuse as well. Take a look in your owners manual for the location of the fuses. \hope this helps

We believe the problem is in the juction box but can not find it. we have checked every fuse in side the car and the fuse box in by the engine. my radio, dome light, brake lights, power locks have suddenly...

The problems you speak of are common in early model Dodge Stratus vehicles. I have a 2000 that is experiencing the same issues and was told to replace the junction box by the dealer. The worst part is, the junction box and associated parts are no longer made. I was told to go to the junkyard but be careful since you will need a junction box from a car that has all of the same options your car has or certain features will not work.

Check fuse #5 10 amp in the junction block inside the car
also check fuse #14 10 amp in the junction block and fuse #4 15 amp in the junction block.

If the fuses are good, try this reset process...

You may have a code or a problem with your body control module. try disconnecting the battery turn the key to the run position let sit for 10 minutes then turn key off and reconnect the battery this will reset all the modules in the car back to factory settings.
