Question about 1994 Ford Crown Victoria
The car had a brake line rusted thru from the front to the back rear wheels, had it replaced at the shop, all worked fine that day, parked the unit for a couple of days, and went to move it and the interlock will not let me move the shifter now no matter how hard I press on the brake petal.
I need to know how to release the interlock so that I can move the unit and return it to the shop, towing bill will be about $150.00 otherwise
You should be able to remove the wiring from the switch and jump it to allow the transmission to be shifted. Though this tow bill should belong to the brake shop and be thier responcibility not yours.
I would demand they get the vehicle picked up and repairs be made.
