Question about 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
I own a 200 chev. silverado 1500. Have not had any problems. today I was driving it and I cut it off. When I started it back, it started but cut off like it was out of gas. What is the problem
I had an issue with my silverado a while back, I could not keep the truck running at an idol, I had to keep my foot on the gas and rev it up just to put it in gear or it would stall??? After further investigation I noticed that the battery cable was looking very nasty and after I cleaned it up and properly reattached it everything went back to normal. Hope this helps

Check your fuses if the fuel pump gets hot from running with no fuel going thru it ,it will blow the fuse first under hood. then check the fuel filters it might have picked up gunk inside your tank and clogged them.
