Question about 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe
Put the car into neutral and then press down the 2 WD button. If this doesn't work shut the car down and try again. Also, don't swithch to 4WD while on the fly ever. This is bad for the transmission regardless of how the feature is sold to the consumer.

Gm had problem with 4wd push button, need to see if there are any codes stored and will tell if it is a switch malfunction
