New motor starts & idels but you have to wait 10-15min before driving or it dies THEN when you try to restart it turns over like it has NO compression. You can wait couple mins and restart after it warms up you can drive it.
SOURCE: 2000 sebring dies while driving
check the tire pressure maybe low causing the car to drag and stall
SOURCE: overdrive light comes on and wont go off till you turn off motor
First check that your fluid level is full thats running in park, second when you check the fluid see if its bright red or brownish in color if it's brown does it smell kinda like onions? if yes then replace all the transmisson fluid and filter, should be done every 30,000 miles if you change fluid and filter also add lucas transmisson condtioner, and tranny will take 12 quarts but if you have never done it take itto a tranny shop, they will charge about $150.00 more or less.
SOURCE: Fuel pressure intermittently drops causing sputter and die.
check for 12v constant at your fuel pump if you are not getting that replace your relay.
if you are getting 12 volts at your fuel pump the fuel pump is possible to run tuel it gets warm then shut down to a lower rpm I would then replace the fuel pump
SOURCE: heater blows cold air ,at idle and blower motor
the heater control valve is not opening all the way.
look under the hood on one on the heater hoses .
you should find a vaccum controled heater hose valve.
make sure your not low on coolant also.
also make sure none of the heater hoses are pinched off.
SOURCE: 97 Saturn sl2. Won't start after it gets warm.
It is your engine coolant temp sensor (ECTS). 99.9%. the saturn made them with a plastic tip, so they crack over time. A replacement should be about 15 bucks and not too hard to replace. You'll notice your engine temp gauge not working (always cold).
I don't know much about cars, but here's what happens. When your car is cold, the fuel runs rich. Your broken sensor is always reading that the engine is cold, but when it is warm, it runs too rich and floods your engine, not allowing it to start. When your engine is actually cold, everything is fine.
